A friend purchased the GBofWWII Stalingrad from steam. He downloaded the game and wanted to mod it. Problem is neither one of us could find it on his computer-only the icon.
When you d\l a game from steam where does it hide it? We looked thru the steam folder and could not find it. We need to find this folder so we can mod the game. Or how is a steam game to be modded?
Thanks any help is appreciated.

Stroke of luck-games are located in the steam folder under the folder "steamapps". That was a learning experience.
Please return to your normal program.

You answered your own question, but yes, all game files in Steam are located in the Steam\SteamApps\common folder under the respective game. In my case (working on FW in the Steam version), the mod would be located in the C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Blitzkrieg Anthology\Blitzkrieg\Mods directory.
