While playing around with the map editor I noticed the following problem
When I run the map and move the 'Komitern' then the start.wav and stop.wav sound is OK but the cycle.wav does not seem to work. The 1.xml file points to the sound as follows;
SoundMoveStart=Tank12_custom_start SoundMove=Tank12_custom_cycle SoundMoveStop>Tank12_custom_stop The sound 'tank12' is in the following pak file.
\\Panzerblitz Clean\Run\Data\Data1_HighRes.pak\Sounds\Units\Ground\tank12\
I would like to know what is causing this. Does anyone know where to start ?

Yes I do, everything else seems to work fine though. I'll check this tomorrow on a Win 7 installation. A couple off months ago I upgraded my laptop to version 10 of the Microsoft spyware For now it seems I have this problem with units using ' Tank12_custom_cycle' and ' Tank14_custom_cycle'

Are you using windows 10? I run BK from a portable device. Just checked if I have the same problem when I run BK on Windows 10 and wonder oh wonder, no trouble with the missing sound. Next I tried to run it under Linux Kunbuntu using Wine without any problems. The strange thing is most sounds seem to work fine. I will try to run BK on another computers with Win 10 installed. Anyone else experiencing this problem. Any ideas ?

rename Tank12_custom_cycle in XML to say Tank8 and see if it works Thx. Tried this without avail. I also tried running in compatibility mode and this seemed to work in the game. I will try to find out if there is a difference between starting the game.exe directly or via the map editor.

if you use the compatibility mode, you have to run the mapeditor as administrator to not have the sound bug
