Busy reworking Vanilla BK map into Offikrieg mod. Open and rework is not a problem, I renamed the map,BZM, LUA and scenario + scenario .xml to 'Rus' But when loading: I had this sometimes in the past but always able to solve it. But now, I forgot what is wrong and how to fix it...

You probably have more than 1 BK game installed. You must make sure that the map you are trying to run is saved in the map directory of the installation you are running the map editor. If you have the map open then do a "save as" and save the map into the right directory. The map should then run when start from within the map editor.

Dont use space in the path.
aa11blitzkrieg test file is not gonna work. Try aa11blitzrkieg_test_file or something similar

Dont use space in the path. aa11blitzkrieg test file is not gonna work. Try aa11blitzrkieg_test_file or something similar 'aa11blitzkrieg test file' was the name of my BK instalment file, the map was simply called: 'Rus'. Nope, there had to be another issue. I tried to load other existing maps, same problem. Then I deleted my other BK-instalment, still a problem, then I deleted the whole F*king thing!! Now reinstalling and starting from scratch. But thanks for the advises! Hope to make it work this week.

You can not have space in ANY part of the path. Doesnt matter if its the BK instalment file or something else. Dont start deleting random stuff xD

A bit late but I think or rather I am pretty sure I know what the problem is The map 'Rus.bzm' is loaded into the editor from the folder ..\run\mods\offikrieg 1.5 beta\data\maps\ but..... to make the map run from the 'map editor' the map should be in the ..\run\data\maps\ folder. A map can be loaded and edited form any location but to make it run from the map editor it needs to be in the ..\run\data\maps\ folder of you BK installation. Also the name of the map must not contain white spaces. Here this was not the case.

Thanks! It seems obvious now that I read your observation and idea. I killed the map and started from scratch. Building a mod with maps can be a pain in the ass
