Hello everybody,
I bought today a game called "Will of Steel". It's price was only 3€ and an micro was included, and the genre is strategy/tactics, so just something for me.
Now I have a problem. I can't launch it under Vista. It crashes while showing the first logo of the developers.
Any hints?

Looks indeed very interesting. You can control the game partially via voice...

via voice? how do you mean. do i have to speak to them in a microphone and tell them what to do or is it something else. i dont understand?
Back to topic: i think you need a a dual core patch or something like that for it it should be downloadeble on the internet. THere are a lot of troubles with games running on vista. i remember that blitzkrieg also didnt worked well till the dual core patch is there.

Yes, you tell them what to do over the microphone. And you scroll and move units with the mouse.
I find that to be very interesting. Imagine a multiplayer where everyone is in the same room with voice command.

Which side does use those tanks you mentioned? Anyway, some units use older equipment because it's cheaper or because they are not so important or expected to engage in combat (which does not mean that it never happens).
As far as I know, the U.S. Army tankers used the M3 Grease Gun up to 1995.
But one RTS I was really disappointed of was Command & Comquer 3. Too much rushing and too less of anything else to me. And the Red Alert3 just doesn't look good to me.

I did actually buy it new ;D I have sometimes luck finding some games for a very low prices and most of them aren't so bad, for example Rush for Berlin for 2€.
But the M60 was actually still used in Operatio Desert Shield (the Sheridan indeed was not). Now I don't know if the game plays also in Desert Shield or not.
Edit: Just found that even some Sheridans were used by the 82nd Airborne Division during Desert Storm. But of course not against enemy tanks.
