Any pointers on avoiding crashes? Tried a few campaigns but experience crashes and cannot get past 1-2 missions. So far I tried deleting all 5 Voodoo files from the directory, running a compatibility mode for XP and Vista. No luck. Help is appreciated.

1) Open Task Manager (Ctrl+Alt+Del)
2) Select Details
3) Select " Define Affinity" (mouse click left)
4) Unselect all processrs
5) Check box: chose one processor
6 ) Click Ok and close Task Manager

Hello all. I have a german campaign on the go on gmz 11.
I have just downloaded version 11.1 will I be required to start the german campaign again or should it be ok?
Also where do I put the salo_italia.pak
I have exacted the files for it and it has maps and scenarios folders. I had a look in the gmz files but cant seem to find maps and scenarios.

Hello again all. Just a quick question I didn't play the game for a wile after updating it to 11.1 gmz I have noticed when scrolling the map that the units and building are blurry. Is this normal?

You can try to remove the dgVoodoo utility from the root folder of the game (if not done yet). Just delete the following 5 files:
- D3D8.dll
- D3DImm.dll
- DDraw.dll
- dgVoodoo.conf
- dgVoodooCpl.exe

I removed those files but had no effect. It's strange only goes blurry when scrolling left and right up and down is fine. Seems the terrain jumbles around as I move left to right slightly also.

eh "the motion blur" cant do much about it. What helps a bit in my case is to set V-sync on in Nvidia panel or frame limit to 60 fps than restart PC and start the game.

I think I haven't noticed before somehow. But think it's just the game as the original does the same plus the Stalingrad game. I will try the 60 frame cap. Thanks for replying. I did as you recommend. And it has helped with toning down the blur. Thank you. |
