Kaoz, are you still around? I was just looking at your web site. The Italian Mod looks really good and comprehensive, but I can see no way to download the thing!

Kaoz is definitely still around, I just talked to him two or three days ago. Although I probably shouldn't talk for my friend, but the Italian Mod isn't complete. Last time he mentioned it, it was not completed and it needs maps. Sorry kaoz if this was classified info zaltar

no need 4 sorry's zaltar - it's not a secret either!
i have been moving and therefor new internet connection - been out for 2 weeks... but back now.
LOL louisXIV, well, i thought to have the OA finished but needed to fix some last errors and have skinned a lot of european italian and other units. lots of work there... last obstacle is the parties.xml but i'm nearly there. inbetween i am mapping for OA. about the italian mod, it's a shame, but i need some vacation so i can finally focus on adding Folgore's acks to the units. also need to add my euro skinned gunners and sappers and the mod should be ready, so it's not that it needs lots of work still. exept for mapping, i have a few ready, some halfway, but it would be 5, 6 or max 7, so yes, i could always need more! also need to put the Netherlands mod together, so busy schedual! i'll definitely forsee a download when ready, but not on the website, i'm afraid for it costs me to much host space. but there's other ways anyhow. thx of course yr help would be appreciated.

Send me the mod, I can put Enrico's Acks in it for you. I already did it to mine along with French and Japanese Acks.
You gotta be more specific. Are you doing a chapter or campaign? What maps do you want done?
I was fooling with an Italians vs. French, June 11th 1940. Will that go in an Italian Mod?

Appreciated LouisXIV; but i really like to go thru the acks myself. I don't mean to sound "bossy", but i am eager to do this. For two reasons: 1st, i want to play around with the probabilities and i might still mix BKP/Hellcats acks for some units, just for the sake of their hard work as well. 2nd, the acks for the tanks still need an effect; i will run these thru SoundForge and put a AM effect on them so they sound like coming from a tank! Also have a lot of squads/humans from MP and VonLuger, plus all of dunkels tanks; they all need to get these acks.
So please, have a little more patience, appreciate you want to help and you probably have more time, but i just feel the need to do this. However, you can certainly do the French acks. It's funny you mention June 1940, because it would be my opening map for the chapter. Little Saint Bernard Pass that is. I have created italian and french gunners, also french AT, AA and mortars. You could help a lot if you'd forsee these with french acks! Also with maps, doesn't matter if we both have france june 1940. the more maps the merrier, i'd say.
A year ago, i made a guideline of all important italian wars. I will look it up and place it online this week, it might bring ideas. There's still plenty actually.
Thx for the enthousiasm!

What I had heard was that the Italians had attacked France in the more open, less mountainous areas close to the Mediterranean, so that was what I was working on. Thus what I have would be closer to the battle for Menton. If you have any maps or details of that, I could make my map more accurate.

LouisXIV, that would be the following days after italians passed Setz and headed for Nice. Sorry, sofar i haven't found info on that. i would have to google it too at this moment.
Folgore: thx, info mostly comes from the well known Comando Supremo, mixed with other info i had found.
When you see double asterix ** behind map name, i consider that a good map idea. i have put my name along the maps that i intend to finish.
As you can see, detailed info concentrates from June1940 up to August 1943. From the Sicily and Italy landings, i haven't done too much research yet. Afrika wars got me busy enough sofar already

Well, this is a good start. Just looking at the map gives you a good idea of how the battle should go.Gonna have to get JoeCanada to help me with those knife-edge ridges.

kaoz, I am trying to create an updated and more realistic version of CorpBob's Operation Sea Lion chapter. I would like to include your Dover map if you don't mind.

I believe that kaoz is away again, but I'm sure that he should be back soon. I don't see why he wouldn't disagree, but I probably shouldn't speak for my friend.
