I want to run stalingrad as a BK mod. At the moment it works in map editor but not in BK itself..
So how is this done?

I don't have a copy of Stalingrad, so I can't really advise you about the technicalities of it. The best I can do is sketch out some ideas.
You might be able to use WinRAR to include Stalingrad in a huge .pak file (WinRAR can incorporate much larger .zip/.pak files now than before) and drop it into your data file. Then it would work as an automatic - always on - mod file...until such time as you removed your Stalingrad.pak file.
Another idea is to create a Stalingrad folder under your mods folder in BK. Create a data folder and a saves folder. Then move all your Bridges - Buildings...Units - Weapons folders into the data folder. Make sure the objects.xml or Modobjects.xml is there as well, renamed (if necessary) as a Modobjects.xml file. Then you will have to create your own mods.xml file - not hard at all. Who knows? Might work? But then you would have to change all Stalingrad missions, chapters and campaigns to mod items. Not too difficult, but a bit of work.
A third option is to carefully incorporate all new items in the Stalingrad file into your data.pak file, include all references in the objects.xml, as well as changing the 1.xml of all the existing stock BK items to the Stalingrad standards. A BIG job. If you make one mistake and can't recover it, then it's back to the beginning of reloading vanilla BK.

I have placed everything in a mod map.
mods>stalingrad>data
All the stalingrad .PAK files are there unedited and I created a mod.xml file. It works in map editor, but when I load the mod in BK it crashes. Should I delete the objects.xml file or rename it to modobjects?

I think that you need to call it modobjects.xml for it to run as a mod; otherwise, I think that it tries to run as a game.

Yes, you need to rename it as Modobjects.xml. objects.xml is only for the data.pak.

I had renamed it, it still didn't work. I removed the UI map and guess what? It all works fine.. Now I just have to know which file in the UI map is causing the trouble..
