Being a Russian speaker, I get the gist of the ranks, but what do they really mean? And how far do they go?

Well, they are mostly ones from Serbian army (actually from any army, just written in Serbian). They go like this (lowest to highest): Regrut - Recruit Vojnik - Soldier Vodnik - Sergeant Porucnik - Lieutenant Kapetan - Captain Major - Major Pukovnik - Colonel General - General

The Slav rank systems are not so different among each other. Example, our (ex-yugoslavian) and russian. Or what I know from Polish or Slovak, Bulgarian etc. ranks. Btw Aleks, lijep avatar / nice avatar

@sj: there are actually several more members; they just have moderator ranks. Thanks for the clarification Aleks.

Post count I think. I believe (might be wrong) that Ocelo and myself are the only members to have spammed posted enough to get beyond Vodnik What's with me?
