"This is the first official release of the East African Mod for BLITZKRIEG. It has grown a bit larger than I originally anticipated. The others were beta. The list of units and squads is indicative of the units used in this campaign. Additional units/squads/aircraft will be added as they are made available and their use verified. Some changes to the aircraft markings is in progress. Extra artillery is being investigated and some extra aircraft is in the process of being built. Some skins also need tweaking. The item is run as a mod and thus it has to be loaded in under Load Mod. It should not interfere with normal BK. Due to a small problem with the UI it has been found that clicking just top the left of the text in the buttons of the menus gets it to work. This is being attended to. If however you want to use the normal BK interface just delete the UI folder under \data. One has to remember that the Germans did NOT take part in this part of the war. Nor did the Americans. The forces used there were British, South African, Italian and Colonial troops on both sides. Because of this there are only 2 parties to chose from. Either Italy or South Africa. You have to set this in the diplomacy when you start mapping as it WILL crash if you run it. Set it up immediately on starting the map editor and you will not have problems. This project was inspired by a guy called Jacques who pestered me for something like this. BUT... All thanks go to BKP, Icemember, Dunkel, GordonCZ, LouisXIV and Badmoon (not necessarily in that order). A few others assisted and passed on ideas and granted permission for the use of items created by them. Contact me via the Portal forums. Lastly. This is dedicated to my father who fought in that campaign. Thanks."
