I have translated the mission, going to check tomorrow morning for any major spelling errors. Now the question is how can I integrate this into game? I experimented earlier with translation patch files, but I can't get rar files to pak files it would seem. I changed the ending to .pak , but still, it would seem no results.
Ideas?

Open the file "GZMV70All_Inclusive_English" So change extension to zip and open the file.
Then go to the folder where you find the ..\Scenarios\ScenarioMissions\german\Sewastopol1942 Delete all txt files in that folder Then drag all translated txt files into that folder. Exit 7-zip and change the extension of the file back to pak. You could skip renaming the pak to zip if right click on the pak file, select "open with" and choose 7-ZIP. 7-Zip will recognize pak files as zip files. Let me know if this works.

If it does't work then send me the files. BTW: What program are you using for opening the zip/pak files ?

This is a small language pak containing the translation of the Sevastopol mission. I also updated the all inclusive language pak made by Folgore. The language pak made by Folgore already contains a misson Sevastopol1942 so using the language pak in earlier versions of GZM might cause a conflict. Update language pak can be found here. If you plan to do more translations then it would be good that somebody coordinates the efforts. Other members of this community are also working on translations of GZM.

Thanks Quintaxel! I updated the link on the first post of this thread so you will find the Quintaxel's update. I would suggest separtate .paks for future updates in order to avoid confusion about the All_inclusive_English to use. If new .paks get an adequate number we can think about another update.
I think there should be no problem on using the small update of the Sevastopol mission with the old All_inclusive_English since the BK engine chose the most recent version of two or more files having the same name.

Darn..
Update does not work (Sevastopol mission) nor does the Sevastopol only small language pack link have any files there.

Did you restart the mission ?
Edit:
some more questions - Did you remove the "GZMV70All_Inclusive_English.pak" file ? - Do you still get the Russian mission description ?

Did everything right, restarted mission, removed other English pak files and I get pure proper russian version.

This is odd. Could you post a screenshot of the data directory ? Do you still have everything in Russian or just the Sevastopol mission ?

OK, I'll check again later today. I do not have GZM 7.77 installed for the moment.

Estlander, I've checked the pak files to find the Sevastopol map. There is a map called Sevastopol_1942.BZM but it is a different map from the one you are refering to. (see image below) Can you tell me the name of the chapter of the German campaign you are playing so I can narrow down the search ? Estlander

The chapter is called 'crim' and mission is 'sewastopol1942'.
Phew, finally started playing this again. Really hard mission. Though I could not get the patch to work, I could individually change the task descriptions by opening the big file with 7-zip.
Now the main question is, where can I find the text files for those pop up's that pop on the left upper screen corner. Mine are just some empty blocks. Really would like to translate those, they are quite crucial to this mission.
EDIT: Found the files.
