Gagarin I know its been done , I'm asking for a good solution( if there is any). What I have seen so far is not very appealing to me

Maybe you could add a dropshadow to the leaves before adding them to the unit's skin so that you get the illusion of depth. your attempt does not look too bad but whatever you do you cannot change the contours of the unit, you can only create an optical illusion. At least that's how I see it.

In the first texture size 1024х1024. The second (the British version) texture size 900х900. Quality losses are almost no pictures. But disappears flickering textures (which at the size 1024х1024). But apart from resizing, you should still good "play" with light-shadow texture (retouching).

Thanks Gaga you do MP models in 512x512 is that because it looks best ? what about old models what's best res for that.. I mean how to calculate best res. for different models

I made a modification of all the 1.xml files in the new pak that I delivered Project "WH" or "GD", all this is already corrected. Just make a copy of the 1.xml file of the model: WH_SdKfz251-4D_TC in my project and replace the one in your model. Then everything will go properly and load troops plus you can tow heavy armament and supply ammunition. Try it and tell me if it's to your liking. youre welcome.

The model is not mine, I rescued it from the past to revive it with a new look, I think there are many models very old, with a facelift, you can get amazing results. Our role here, it is also very important, to improve the quality of the skins for a vehicle, giving that fair point realistic to the models, the players enjoy recreating historical battles. On the other hand, I do not rule out that one day I start to model, but at the moment I think there are many models made, and that we owe to Major Pain. I believe that as long as one of us continues to carry out complete projects and works, this game will remain alive for a long time. A hug.
