Regarding texture sizes, I wouldn't use non-power of 4 (i.e 64, 128, 256, 512, 1024) sizes, as to process a 900x900 texture, your graphics card still has to process it as a 1024x1024 one anyway. Also, I find 512x512 to be more than sufficient for BK. There is after all, no zoom function. A little more attentive. I gave advice about the size of the texture for the model of the game World of Tanks. These textures have their "feature". The optimum size of a texture well detailed model of 512х512 in these models does not work - the quality of the texture is lost. |
