I finally won Mission 3 in my second attempt. Lost my heavy arty and half of my tanks to the polish bombers again 
tedi88: there is an easier version for that mission. sorry for making too hard maps lol |

tedi88: there is an easier version for that mission. sorry for making too hard maps lol Nice. You're better than me.  Lol, didn't know that. Still it's a great map. If I had one more repair and supply truck it would have been much easier. I even lost repair truck to mines and I haven't saved before, so I was playing without ability to clean mines. Ukraine chapter was better balanced in this field. Anyway back on Heeresgruppe, i'll replay the Mission 3 again tonight and post the results later. |

Quintaxel thanks for the translation. feldgrau nice balance of forces. Very good. I've replayed the 3rd mission. This time I loaded the officer in the second wagon. After that the train proceeded behind Polish lines. Train reinforcements arrived shortly afterwards. Major differences were: 1. I've got Stukas as GAP. This made mission much easier, as they doubled as fighters against Polish bombers. 2. Armoured train helped early on, as I used it to silence the left battery. After that mission proceeded mostly as before except I had fewer loses in tanks, but higher loses in infantry. Overall I felt the mission was easier this time around, though the reason for this could be I knew what to expect. Also I've started Mission 4, but made little progress. I took the bridge on the left flank of the Polish defensive line. Though i've lost several vehicles and 2 squads of infantry. Not wanting to risk it, i've changed the angle of the attack. Supported by arty (two 10cm canons and an '88) and tanks my infantry attacked along the rail line, cleared the buildings and destroyed enemy armored train. Assault was stopped in front of the rail bridge, because i've taken considerable loses and wanted to regroup my forces. I will continue with the mission tomorrow and update this after action report.

So far I have only seen the scripts and mission briefings and I can only imagine how much work feldgrau must have put in this great mod. Edit: Just saw the maps on Feldgrau's webpage, wow. "Die Karten sind für mich ein Qualitätsmaßstab". (These maps are a benchmark !!!) |

I need a little help with the translation of the second mission of map 5
The mission briefing would translate as below:
"Bring the civilians to the small "cabin" over the river and then get back to the starting point. No one may stay behind! There's a "memorial column" just behind the castle ruin. Move your soldiers over there to get ammunition. If one of your soldiers moves to the well behind the castle, then lost units will be replenished."
If I translate from German then "Brunnen" could be translated a "well" but could also refer to "fountain" or a "spring". I do not find a fountain in the vicinity of the castle ruin so I guess "well" or spring would be correct but I'm not sure.

Look on BK-Schnellschuss That's the project dealing with battle of Nemmersdorf? Very interesting scenario. Btw for the record, feldgrau did one hell of the job with this mod. Very good. In fact I must notice he has some of the best textures for Yugoslav Partisans i've seen in BK. |

Quintaxel. Your translation is perfect. I understand very well the whole report.  I am informed that I bring my soldiers to the point where the column near the castle, where we will receive ammunition or weapons and must also go to the well where new units will replace, I guess these soldiers or heal their wounds.  But it is well understood, I think better can not be translated. Thank you for your good work my friend. |
