hi Ritzmod,
Do you use either the Dual Core Patch or EasyToolZ ? I also installed Blitzkrieg on the D- drive and not on C. It doesn't solve all problems ,some maps still crash but most work

Another problem: BK2 autorun doesn't work so I can't instal the game. I had the same problem, but not only with vista, also on xp. Solution: simply wait for an hour then it appears. Sorry, but that's the only solution I figured out and I know it's rather poor.

And for the files to be seen, you maybe have to turn on "Hidden objects visible"

Ah, now I might know whats the problem you have. Your map files are nowhere to be found, but you can access them with the editor? If it is so, save them again but in another folder. It worked on my computer (don't ask me why)

Sorry, but that's the only solution I figured out and I know it's rather poor. Damn I forgot about that. Just run the installer....and wait. It is running, and eventually it will come up (after 5 mins maybe). It will also take ages to install. Solution is to run in compatibility mode with XP, or just to wait.

Now I don't know how you edit your scripts, but maybe you could try something similar.

Check to see if you have a "Compatability Files" folder within your map folder. They may be hiding in there. If so, just transfer them into the "main" maps folder and then you should be able to see them.

Most important thing with Vista is not to install in the "default" programme files but to point the installer to documents or make a folder called games or such. Wish i had known that earlier. I had endless trouble trying to correct the missing i"high textures" in PK and RT. Vista will not allow some files to be overwritten when located in programme files location. Thanks to all those at BKHQ who tried to help me, that was the problem i was having

Hey Ritzmod,
Did you ever find your scripts?
