Yes, Windows Home Premium. That's what the store where I got the computer gave me when I complained that the Vista was a piece of #$%& and threatened to bring my computer back because as far as I was concerned it was non-functional.
The fact that I featured the store prominently in an article I did for the local newspaper didn't hurt, either.
I have all versions located directly in the rood directory: i.e., C:\Blitzkrieg Rolling Thunder

Louis... I think you meant "ROOT" directory...
If you still had Vista.... then you would have a "RUDE" directory. ;D

Yes, well, I've already had it with the "rude" directory.
Actually, rood is a proper English word. It just hasn't been used in about 600 years ....
I swear, if I was not so lazy and afraid of messing up all my files, I'd clean these drives off and go back to XP.

Hi,
Normally if you install the game on another partition of your hard disc (i.e. D:\ ) or on an external hard disc you shouldn't have this issue.

My hard drive consists of only one partition (c:/) and an external hard drive doesn't work either. Other suggestions?

Is this a new computer or did you already run BK on it with another operating system ? What version of BK are you trying to install ?

Install Blitzkrieg Anthology in the C:\ Folder
C:\Blitzkrieg Anthology
If you have installed in the C:\Program Files Folder you will not be able to run MODS. This is a long known issue caused by the way Vista, Win 7 and Win 8 handles Blitzkrieg game.exe in the Windows Registry.
You must over-write the path with a new install since the MOD folder cannot be found.

I already tried to install it directly on the c:/ drive. I reinstalled (i uninstalled the game many times but it keeps saying reinstall) the game many times but it keeps giving the error. It's just the cd, so version blitzkrieg rolling thunder 1.0. Years ago, i played it on windows xp and it worked fine back then. Major Pain, could you explain some more?

If you still have an XP computer around you can install it on that and then just copy the install to a flash drive and put it on your W7 machine in a directory other than where W7 wants to install it and you should have no problems. This is my method. You can actually run BK right from the flash drive as well, which I have also done.

I don't have an xp computer left. That's what i don't understand. I exactly tried that: install it on a flash drive and try to run it from the drive, didn't work either. I really don't see what's wrong.

If its an old version of BK then you might need the dual core patch. Check your PM nick33
